Project Description

This week I’ll report on the answers that you gave in the parish survey regarding the religious education of our children, which takes both in the parish school and in the Sunday Religious Education Program.  (Answers were on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being Strongly Disagree and 5 being Strongly Agree.)

  • My child (or I) find religious education to be fun and engaging: 8
  • Religious education has improved my child’s (or my) knowledge of the faith: 3
  • Religious Education has helped my child (or me) deepen their/my relationship with Christ:  2

  • Positive comments about the school (14)
  • Positive comments about the Religious Education Program (13)
  • Positive comments about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (10)
  • Negative comments about the school (7)

We all know that, especially in the culture in which we live, passing on our faith to the next generation is a challenging task, but it’s such an important one.  We’re so blessed with so many staff members and volunteer parishioners who dedicate so much of their time and expertise to forming our young people so that they not only have a solid understanding of the Catholic faith, but so that they also have a deep and meaningful relationship with Christ.  Please continue to pray for our children, for their parents, and for all those who work form them in the faith.
