Mission Trip

Registration is open! We did this trip two years ago and it was an amazing experience. This trip is open to all incoming 9th graders and outgoing 12th graders. Any older sibling or teen (18+) who has previously participated is welcome to return as a chaperone.

Who: incoming 9th graders- outgoing 12th graders

What: Mission trip to Our Lady of the Angel’s Mission in Chicago, IL. We will be helping the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist run their summer Bible Camp for the children in their neighborhood.

Where: West Humboldt Park, Chicago, IL

When: July 15-20

How: We will take a school bus to Chicago on Sunday evening and back on Friday afternoon. We will take public transit while in Chicago. We will stay at Concordia University: 7400 Augusta St, River Forest, IL 60305

Cost: There will be a cost associated with this trip, which we will offset with several fundraisers (more details below). There is a $50 deposit due when you register.

Registration deadline: Sunday, June 17, 2018, at which time a $50 deposit is due. *If the cost is a hindrance to any student participating in our mission trip, grants are available. Please do not let money keep  you from this service opportunity!

  • Restaurant: Dairy Queen, 12422 State Road 23, Granger, IN 46530, Tuesday, July 10, 5-9pm (If you think you can attend, please RSVP here:*
  • Ninja Golf: Mid-late June

Those attending the mission trip must take part in at least 1 of the 3 fundraisers.

*If you think you can eat at Dairy Queen on the evening of Tuesday, July 10, please go ahead and RSVP, and have your family RSVP as well! We need to reach a minimum number of RSVPs so that this fundraiser does not get canceled.
