About:

The Youth Group alternates doing a summer traveling mission trip and a local service week in South Bend.

Our Service Week will be June 23-28. We will sleep in a couple of classrooms in the school, and do daily service at different locations in South Bend. In years past we have done work with the Catholic Worker Community, Hope Ministries, Dismas House, St. Margaret’s House, Unity Garden, Camp Millhouse, The Center for the Homeless, Healthwin, Women’s Care Center, and others. We will have daily Mass, Evening Prayer, and at least one opportunity for adoration as well!

Because we stay on campus, we are able to keep costs at a minimum and allow for students to come for part of the week if need be. It also allows for different chaperones to join us for one night instead of the whole week; we need one male and one female chaperone to sleep overnight, and at least on additional chaperone to travel with us to our service sites.
